Some occasions call for something made specifically for you. A red carpet appearance, a significant event, a moment where off the rack won't do.
Bespoke with Daniel Avakian starts with a single conversation. From there it becomes something designed and fitted around you, built in the Sydney studio Daniel works from every day.
THE CONSULTATION
Your first appointment is a conversation with Daniel. He'll ask what the piece is for, an event, a role, a way you want to feel walking into a room.
From there, your measurements are taken, in person or, for clients who are remote, by 3D body scan. Fabric comes next, from premium suppliers in Italy, England and China.
Together you'll settle on silhouette, colour and detail, until the design takes shape.
THE MAKING
Once the design is settled, your garment is cut and built in the Riley Street Studio, where Daniel does the construction himself.
Fittings are arranged as required. Suits usually have one test fitting, and gowns up to two, depending on the piece. Fittings check proportion, how the piece moves as you walk, sit, turn, and allow final adjustments to seams, drape and finish.
DELIVERY
When it's finished, your piece is delivered and styled for whatever it was made for. A quiet dinner. A stage. A red carpet.
OUTSIDE SYDNEY
For clients outside Sydney, the process runs the same way remotely.
